Stan R. Weller

Attorney Stan Weller, founder of Weller Law LLC., is a civil litigation attorney practicing primarily in the areas of family law, adoption, estate planning and related litigation. His family law practice includes divorce, custody, visitation, parental responsibility, parenting time, guardianship, child support, protective orders, adoption and virtually all other family related matters. He is also a qualified mediator and arbitrator. In addition to more than 25 years of legal experience, our founding attorney is a published author.

Attorney Stan R. Weller established the Weller Law, LLC in 2006 after working in private firms and in the Illinois Attorney General’s office prosecuting the most violent of sexual offenders.

In addition to more than 25 years of legal experience, our founding attorney is a published author. He shares his invaluable insight on child custody cases in an informative book called, “Preparing for a Child Custody Trial: What You Need to Know.” Written in a language that is accessible to all, the book guides readers through the steps of a case, helps prepare for trial and explains the importance of certain evidence.

As an experienced family law attorney, he also wrote a book aimed at helping other divorce lawyers, titled “Marital Settlement and Joint Parenting Agreements Line by Line.” This book has been used across the nation by attorneys preparing comprehensive orders and settlements for their own clients.
